About the Book

The Six communities of people living in Mon, Tuensang, Longleng and Kiphire districts of Eastern Nagaland are the (in alphabetical order) : Chang, Khiamniungan, Konyak, Phom, Sangtam and Yimchunger.

While the district of Mon and Longleng are inhabited by one tribe, the Konyak and the Phom respectively, the district of Tuensang is peopled by the Chang, Sangtam, Khiamniung and the Yimchunger, and Kiphire district by the Sangtam and the Yimchunger.
