The Indo-Naga war has reached its sixty two years of political conflict between Nagaland and India.
This conflict is an open wound left to bleed for over half a century in Asia's post Second World War scenario. It is indeed Asia's longest conflict in her history and continues to bleed, mocking at Asia's rapid political and economical developments in the later half of the twentieth century. The unresolved conflict also stands as a mute negation of all that the UN has stood for in the post Second World War era.
'The Naga Saga' therefore is a Naga cry and a Naga plea to India, Asia and the world for intervention and solution.
The author of the book was born on March 3, 1956. He and others of his generation was born in the midst of war and have lived their lives amidst the sounds of gunfires, screams, deaths, tears and despair. The book, therefore, is written on behalf of his generation and all other fellow-Naga who in their lives on earth, have not known the meaning of the beautiful words from the Bible;
"Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace goodwill toward men' Luke 2:14
