Author : Abraham Lotha

The Hornbill Spirit is an ethnographic study. It follows several paths: historical events, colonial and post-colonial impacts, the role of militarization and religious beliefs. global indigenism, and the identification of ethnic elements. All these aspects are instrumental in shaping Naga nationalism.

Fr. Abraham Lotha, PhD, is the author of History of Naga Anthropology (2007) and The Raging Mithun (2014). He is also the co-editor of Responses to Climate Change (2012) and Retelling Naga Narratives: More Than Thrice-Told Tales (2014).
