These cushion covers are handwoven by Loinloom weaving technique, woven on a loin or back-strap loom. A weaving technique on the verge of extinction and is being practiced in the Northeastern parts of India, latin American Countries by the Maya Societies. The cushion covers are made of cotton yarns and then made into fabrics using back-strap loom. Times of India has also featured the loinloom going global because of its exclusivity of the traditional textile-making of the Indigenous people.
