KAZOK LOOMS, earlier known as CEE PEE HANDLOOMS  is founded by achui k. Shimray. It has its registered office in ukhrul, Manipur. 

Basically, it is a culmination of my innate love for tribal textiles since childhood. As a young student, studying outside , basically in Shillong and Delhi, I'd always ask my mom to weave mekhalas and stoles with motifs and patterns placed a little differently from the usual. Iam not a trained textile or fashion designer. I just follow my heart . And I'd say, I have keen eyes that can notice anything good .

We have some weavers working on the two -shaft looms as well as the traditional backstraploom. Over time, I have come to learn and realise that in order to survive and find a wider market, certain basic changes have to be made. Like product diversification and use of raw materials. As such, we have been using cotton for our bedsheet and garments, stoles , cushion covers etc. 

Our weavers are all women. We encourage them to work from the convenience of their homes as they have to take care of domestic needs and pressures . We believe in fair wage, fair trade.
