Since the Battle of Kohima in 1944, 75 years passed by leaving behind only a few eyewitnesses of the Kohima Battle. History has been made during the World War II, the story and the event that took place during the Battle of Kohima will always be a momentus and historic event which we will always remember even after centuries later. The present generation knows very little about the Kohima Battle as there were no books which encompass a wide range of villages that will enable us to have a better and deeper knowledge and understanding.  After the war, many changes took place within the Nagas. The Indian took control over the Nagas and over people spread our and lived in different regions and different walks of life. Therefore, the lifestyles of the Nagas today were contrasty differed from 1880-1947 during the British rule.
