About the Book
Khodao Yanthan is one of the central founding fathers of the Naga independence movement in the 20th century. During his self-exile in London, together with A.Z. Phizo, he sought international help and support for the Naga cause. In 1990, Khodao was elected as the President of the Naga National Council (NNC). In 1994, he joined the NSCN (IM) and was elected as the Vice-President in 1996, a position he held untill his death on March 1, 2010.
Wounded Tiger, is an overview of Khodao Yanthan's life and work. The book presents reproduction of the original papers that Khodao wrote in the mid-1960s as well as other historical documents that he had gathered since 1947. These original documents and personal papers are an archive of primary source material for Naga nationalism studies.
Fr. Abraham Lotha, PhD, is a Naga anthropologist. His publications include History of Naga Anthropology, The Raging Mithun and The Hornbill Spirit: Nagas Living Their Nationalism.
