In 1998, seven years ago old village boy, Joshua Sangtam moves to town with his uncle for his formal education leaving behind his parents. 

Since he is from a poor and underprivileged society, he faces a lot of struggles and difficulties from a young age. During his college days, he meets a young beautiful girl, Katirenla with whom he falls in love but later she leaves him with a breakup letter.

This novel unfolds the account of how he overcomes all the odds in life to accomplish his dream of becoming a civil service officer.

Author -

Chumroba J. Sangtam is a B.Sc. Agriculture Graduate. He is from New Monger Village under Kiphire District, Nagaland. He was awarded High Commendation Award during the 2015 IIMUN Conference , Nagaland Meets. He is also the former president of Nagaland Student's Union Chandigarh. Apart from writing, he is passionate reader and enjoys travelling. As a civil service aspirant he looks up to Armstrong Pame, Vivek Attray, Robin Hibu and many more for inspirations. He is presently preparing for civil service exams.
