The History of the Catholic Church/faith among the Angami tribe of Nagaland (1948-2012).

Mr. Rocus R. Chasie is one among the first generation Angami Catholics who was baptized with his parents by Rev. Fr. Umberto Marocchino, sdb, in 1957. Originally from Khonoma village, the family migrated to Kohima town in the late nineteen forties. A lover of writing and music, Mr. Chasie has pioneered the documenting and publishing of several translated religious books in Tenyidie, including tow editions of the Angami Catholic Hymn and Prayer Book. The Present book is the result of his initiative at documenting the history of the birth, growth and development of the Catholic Church in Angami villages, which he began way back in 2002.
