A carefully knitted collection of prose and poetry, The Overthinking Parrot will trickle your mind with the most ordinary questions of life in an unconventional way leaving you hanging by a thread and you can't help but wrap your mind around it which the author has sparked in you. The book you are holding right now is smeared with the author's emotions, philosophy and indeed a piece of his struggle as a village boy growing up to be a man in his own terms. Over feeling, overthinking and overreacting is what the author believes to be the representation of who we are as individuals and as you immerse yourselves into the book, you will be greeted with voice that evokes your emotions, tests your vulnerability and questions your answers about life.

" Our mind can be the most beautiful thing we can ever have yet like a raging fire it can easily destroy you"

About the Author
Toshi O Longkumer has a strong addiction for words who fell in love with books and never recovered. He is devout pilgrim of libraries and café with book shelves. An alumnus of St. Edmunds College, Shillong and Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, today he is an Advocate by profession, a motivational speaker by passion and writer by choice who never hesitate to give his two cents on anything. When he is not in the court room, you would probably see him seating alone in the corner of a café mumbling words to himself or observing people like they are exotic.
