Elephant Country Lakadong Turmeric is sourced from the farms of Trinity Saioo, better known as Turmeric Trinity. She is a school teacher and farmer from Jayantia Hills in Meghalaya, India in the Eastern Himalayas, who has pioneered and spearhead the women-led turmeric farming movement and popularised the indigenous ‘Lakadong’ variety of high curcumin turmeric.
